5-5-2012 Weekend!
Had a great time at the Flowood Arts & Crafts Fair in Flowood Mississippi this past weekend. Saw lots of great folks, lots of booths selling some really cool stuff, including the booth from my old buddy Roger Morris of Second Chance Creations. Lots of activity at Berry Berry Good (it was about 100 outside!)...and I heard everyone enjoyed Five Guys for lunch.
Later in the day, I was also thrilled to meet Darth Vader in person at Heroes and Dreams in Flowood. As you can see everything was great and I was having a wonderful (and playful) conversation with Darth and Jay Long (owner)....that is until I think Darth thought I said he looked a bit overweight in his cape....totally misunderstood what I said...the end result wasn't pretty (keeping in mind I am 6'2").
Indeed he is as powerful as the emperor had foretold.... anyway....thanks to Boba Fett and Jay for getting my back.
Special thanks to Jay Long, The MS 501st, and the crew for a great FREE COMIC BOOK day. My son had a blast and the crowd was very happy to be there.
Speaking on "being there"! Wow, you will want to make it to the big concert this Saturday night. Special guest Jake Owen is on stage..and I have heard that Skylar will be there to open up?? WOW! Here is the info from the City's site:
